René Corado empezó a contarme la historia de su vida en 2002, y me sentí privilegiada en ayudarle a escribirla durante los próximos dos años para dárselo como regalo a su familia en Navidad.

Desde el principio sentí que la vida de René podía servir de inspiración y motivación para otros que escucharan sobre ella, porque claramente me motivó a mí en lo personal. El señor Corado ha experimentado tantas cosas negativas en la vida y las ha superado con tanto éxito, que firmemente creo que su vida nos puede servir de lección. Esta lección es tú puedes superar cualquier cosa siempre que estés dispuesto a seguir tratando.

La vida de René debería ser una llamada de alerta para que despertemos y apreciemos la vida y sus regalos asociados con ella y que si los tenemos, los usemos prudentemente.

El autor, a través de su ejemplo, muestra que sin importar tu origen, es posible superarse y lograr los sueños
Great book it truley made me cry! I then gave this book to my grandfather who lived in guatemala and can relate to the book he cried through the book and I've never seen him cry this is a great book.
Es una historia maravillosa que muchas persona se pueden identificarse de cosas que han pasado similar.
Yo como Chapina muy orgullosa de como el Autor del libro sea una persona muy humilde.
El libro me ayudó a recordar mi propia historia y sentirme como el protagonista de mi historia. Creo que cualquier persona puede empatizar con el autor y por seguro uno se ríe y llora un poco por la nostalgia; como por lo difícil que le tocó a René. Buen mensaje, nunca rendirse y tomarlo con alegría. Sin duda un Exelente Chapin!
Muy buen libro y muy conmovedor; explica del primera mano la travesía y problemas que tienen que pasar muchos inmigrantes en el camino hacia una mejor vida. A veces solo miramos la punta del Iceberg pero no nos damos cuenta que para llegar a la cima hay un precio que pagar primero. Excelente libro vos.
A story that makes you get back to reality and makes you realise all the blessings that you have in your life and encourages you to keep fighting when you find the most difficult situations. Really proud about Rene, what he has done is an outstanding effort fighting for getting a better life, something that unfortunately is very difficult to achieve in Guatemala (sometimes impossible).
